SUPPLIER OUTREACH

Request quotes, MOQs and lead times from every supplier at once

MercatIQ writes the request from the criteria you set, sends it from your own email address, and brings every answer back into your evaluation.

MercatIQ performs comprehensive live research across dozens of sources, structures scattered product and vendor information, and turns it into an evidence-backed comparison your team can review, trust, and defend.

Example supplier card. Delivery coverage is national and production capacity is 5,000 per month, both scored from research. Price, stock and lead time are empty, each with an Ask button.
The same example supplier card after the supplier replied. Price is $4.20 per unit, stock is 2,400 units and lead time is 3 to 4 weeks. All five rows are now filled.

A website answers everyone. A quote answers you.

A website answers everyone. A quote answers you.

Every supplier in your evaluation is scored on the same criteria, so every one has the same gaps, and you ask all of them the same question.

How supplier outreach works

Pick who to ask

Ask one supplier or select several from your research. Each message is tailored to that supplier.

Review the draft

The fields still missing are pre-selected. Edit anything, including how much you say about what you are evaluating.

Send from your mailbox

The supplier receives a message from a person at your company, with your name and your signature, not from a tool.

Read the reply

It arrives in your inbox like any other email, and appears in your evaluation at the same time, attached to the supplier it came from.

A reply does not sit in your inbox. It changes the score.

When a supplier answers, the information goes into the field it belongs to and your evaluation updates. The reply stays attached as the source, so anyone reviewing the decision later can see whether a number came from a website or from the supplier.

If nobody replies, nothing breaks. That supplier's score stays as your research left it, and the gap stays visible as a gap.

Example comparison before and after a supplier reply. Vendor A leads on 92 with price, stock and lead time unknown. After the replies arrive, Vendor A drops to 60 and last place while Vendor B moves to the top.

Bring us a category where the suppliers publish nothing

Book a demo and we will run MercatIQ live on a sourcing decision your team has open now, including the requests to real suppliers. Or send us what you are evaluating and we will tell you whether it fits.

Questions we get before the first call

Does the email come from MercatIQ or from my company?

From your company. You connect the mailbox your team already uses, so the supplier sees your address and replies to you directly.

Is this a mass email tool?

No. The recipients are the suppliers already in your evaluation, the questions come from criteria you set, and a person approves every message before it leaves. There is no autonomous sending mode.

Will this affect our email domain reputation?

Sends are paced and stay inside the limits your mail provider already applies to your account. Volume follows the size of your evaluation, not an uploaded list.

What happens if a supplier does not reply?

Their score stays exactly as your research produced it, and the missing field stays visibly empty. You can switch on a reminder, which only fires while nobody has answered.

What happens on the demo?

We look at a sourcing decision your team is working on now. You see how MercatIQ researches the options, structures the criteria, and requests what is missing from real suppliers in your category. If it fits, we set up your workspace after the call.
